Financials & Reports

Who We Are

We rely on a variety of funding sources to carry out our mission.

Most of our funding (~80% in recent years) comes from federal grants from the Department of State’s Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration and the Administration for Children and Families’ Office of Refugee Resettlement. We also receive private grants from foundations and philanthropic organizations and contributions from individual supporters and organizations. We are deeply grateful for all the funding and contributions which make our work possible.

We take fiscal management very seriously.

Every year, ECDC’s financial records are subjected to an independent audit, and audited financial information is made public in our annual reports and 990 filings. As a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, all contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed under the Internal Revenue Code. ECDC has been granted GuideStar’s Gold Seal of Transparency.
