ECDC Mourns the Loss of Lives on Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302

On this day of mourning in Ethiopia, the Ethiopian Community Development Council, Inc. also mourns the loss of lives resulting from the Ethiopian Airlines flight that crashed on Sunday. Many among the crash victims were humanitarian workers and scholars working to improve the quality of life on the African continent.

ECDC sends its condolences and prayers to the families who lost loved ones, including those who worked for Ethiopian Airlines, the United Nations, Catholic Relief Services, and other organizations. According to reports, 22 of the victims were UN employees, six of whom worked for the UN’s Refugee Agency, UNHCR.

Times like this remind us all how precious each day of our lives is and how dear our family and friends are.
